I don't usually have a lot to say in the gambling section, but I recently watched a video that focuses on people who are basically addicted to sports betting in Africa, and a lot of them have lost a lot of money.

However, I've heard of people who actually make a living betting on sports, so in answer to OP's question I'd say it's a definite "yes"--it's possible, but just like trying to earn a living at the poker table you really have to know what you're doing and I'd say there are a relatively small number of people who have what it takes to become a successful sports better.

And you know, sports betting might be really fun, but would you really want to rely on it as your main source of income?  Unless you're extremely talented, I wouldn't even consider it.

I agree, and like I said: most people don't have what it takes to bet in such a manner that their winnings are stable/consistent.
