I won't say Ethereum is a great investment now because the price already grew up high! The recent price spike was for the Ethereum testnet 2.0 launch date! But when the testnet launches finally, I think Ethereum will show a decline because the hype will be gone. But on the Ethereum 2.0 official launch date, ethereum price may grow up incredibly, even 500-1000$! So, I think this is not the best time for buying Ethereum, rather wait a bit!
Yesterday I found news about the launch of Ethereum testnet 2.0 at least it will happen at the beginning of next month or at the beginning of August if I'm not mistaken on the 4th but I don't know the next info whether it will be delayed again or not, but if it will grow $500-1000 I think very unlikely and I don't think it's a hype, because this project will be very good with the latest updates but indeed, when the price has hit at $300 I think it's high price but if you believe the price will hit the ATH again or even beyond it in the future, I think buying now is not wrong but still the risk will always be there.
