The player should read first the ToS or FAQ of a sporstbetting site/casinos before playing.
This is the reason why many are getting surprised upon withdrawal because they forgot to check the terms of the site.
One problem I have with the attitude, "you should have read the terms of service," is that it denies the player of the very obvious reality: the ToS is shit!

Yeah, you can read them. Sure, you can say, "I don't want to bet here," but then you look at all your other options and the few sites that don't have KYC are close to scams or are lacking in some department (i.e. edge, variety, QoL).

Just because a site has ToS does not mean that the site gets free reign with whatever they've written down. Certain terms and conditions are just absolutely abysmal. Rollover requirements? Arbitrary "we can lock your account" terms without any details at all? How about the whole "no multiple accounts" thing? What, pray tell, does this rule accomplish that a more specific rule does not?

(apart from earning the casino more money, of course.)
