indeed the price of ethereum will always rise when a large project that can influence the price of ethereum but I doubt the increase in ethereum prices at $ 1000 is very difficult to achieve, so I think the maximum ethereum price will rise to the $ 500 figure and the increase is already very difficult.
While there are still no announcements of new projects using ethereum platform or development of Ethereum 2.0, its unlikely to rise to that point of without no other news. These days increase of ETH might be only reason of rise of BTC price
