OWNR wallet use Bitcoin legacy address type as "Default" address and they have three fee types :
Bleh, that sounds like the setup Mycelium has (or had; I think they updated the ability to tweak the network fee since I last used it). I don't use crypto on my phone anymore and haven't heard of this OWNR wallet, but it definitely sounds like it wouldn't be my first choice if I were looking for a smartphone wallet.
OP probably could have sent that $70 worth of bitcoin for even less with Electrum, which would be at or near the top of my list of suggested mobile wallets.
Most new users have this misconceptions about bitcoin.
They think transaction fees depends on the sent amount which is completely false.
Yeah, that's probably true. I know it took me a while to figure out the basics of sending and receiving bitcoin when I first got into it, and now all the basics seem to obvious that it's hard to grasp that newcomers might have trouble understanding things like fees not depending on the sent amount, etc.
