Then you're going to get screwed at some point. I would never want to use an exchange with optional KYC unless I'd done that KYC because if you use it a lot the chances of your funds being frozen are much, much higher than somewhere you've already cleared yourself with.

There are properly decentralised options where freezing can't happen but there aren't many options. That's what you need to investigate.
