While I'll agree, maybe the dev should hop in here and give a status update, maybe he's busy with the long task list?

For those comparing to other coins that just launched... were they pre-mined?  Maybe they bought their way onto other exchanges with it.  This coin is 0 pre-mined, so things will probably move a bit slower.
