No matter how crypto enthusiasts try to convince people to believe that Bitcoin is legitimate, everything seems to be the same. I'm starting to wonder why most people have this kind of mentality towards Bitcoin? After all, the pioneer cryptocurrency is being traded at legitimate exchanges. Even some governments have been collecting taxes from Bitcoin. But that hasn't changed people's minds about it. What are your thoughts?

Lack of education is the main reason, and bad propaganda from media portraying Bitcoin as a vehicle used by scammers but the truth is Cryptocurrency is now contributing to the economy of many countries and a lot of companies have benefited from using Cryptocurrency, we need to combat this by doing our own share of educating people.
Rather than educating, it is a must to create awareness about the cryptocurrency. Education paves way to know how this can be used and beyond certain level it urge the users to analyse whether it is real or not. Another thing people have known about cryptocurrencies and bitcoin as a way to earn. This is what makes people easily get caught in scams, and the users spread what he/she experienced. This creates a bad image for bitcoin.
