Sorry wasn't following OAX much development-wise so I could be wrong here but didn't they launch some DEX or something related to DEX last year?
As far as I remember, OAX planned to launch DEX exchange. All the time I thought they are going to be the first one with dex. In 2018 OAX has released dex demo which everyone was able to test at
https://dex.demo.oax.org/. They even participated with this demo on "I-have-forgotten-the-name" event. OAX DEX was about the release on 2019, but something went wrong. Now some milestones are not achieved and they rebuilt their roadmap.
Right now, after visiting their webpage, after being few second on it, I cant easily say what there are doing. Creating a "resource for decentralized exchange" probably.
The layer 2 dex project can be said to be shelved.
Projects that contribute to space are financed.
The OAX foundation continues on its way with projects that will change the face of the crypto currency space.
