In the real world, we used fiat or physical money in our daily spending. And this physical notes can be use in fraudulence or a so-called Fake Money.
How about in Cryptoworld, is there also a Fake Bitcoin? If there's any, how can we identify it?
Lol there are many of them, you should have seen a list that someone made on Bitcoin forks, it was very funny, there were lots of cryptocurrencies with weird names that I’m seeing for the first time, even one that goes by the name - ‘Bitcoin pizza  Grin’ lol. They are all scammers and if you check out for these cryptocurrencies you will notice that 90% of them are no longer in the market, because they stopped functioning a long time ago.

When Bitcoin Gold (BTG) was forked, there were news then that it’s going to stop functioning and lots of wallets I was using then kept sending me notifications to sell my BTG and convert to the real bitcoin. I am surprised that the last time I checked it was still on coinmarketcap, though I have not checked since then.

So, there are many of them that are going by the name Bitcoin, but they are just counterfeits lol, the real one is simply that Bitcoin and nothing else. Although it’s still up to you, some of these counterfeits are here to stay for a long time, if you can identify them, stay clear from them and go for the legit ones. You can use that Bitcoin Cash as an example, despite that it is a fake Bitcoin, it is still one of the top altcoins if you check the coinmarketcap.
