I do not agree that forex could be any worse than crypto, after all they are both stuff that are very volatile, however the forex one is so dangerous and so slow to move that you have to use a high leverage in order to make any meaningful profit -snip-
But the leverage is only needed because the parity is so low. At the end of the day, it depends on the percentage you win or lose, whether leverage is necessary at very low parities or not is not really important.
Bitcoin, for example, generally fluctuates a lot, if you would use leverage here, it would fluctuate by 20-30% instead of 2-3%. With Forex, however, you need the leverage to get to the 2-3%.
