SEO optimized articles require much more work. Take a look at what quality writers request on this forum. Compare it to the rates at Upwork or other freelance sites to get a better understanding.

I doubt a high-quality writer would consider writing an SEO optimized piece for less then $0.1-0.2/word. You might get the attention of the wrong kind of writers at those rates.
