It is maintaining its name because of enthusiasm Vitalik provides to the project. We can also say that Ethereum is because of Vitalik. Why a very good ICO like Wanchain or Elastos weren't able to maintain their position is the lack of enthusiasm and development. They got money, they are satisfied as if something incredible has been accomplished. Yes it is but it can be improved and implemented better - this what an entire team should think of.

My plan is to accumulate 32 ETH for a POS node and hold it till something new pops up that replaces POS as POS is replacing POW. A long way to go for sure!
