I think it does make sense that the casino itself is getting money as well but for the life of me I never really understood the point of casino making profit even if the gamblers wins money, how did they justify that do you know? I get that if the gamblers lose money the investors profit and from that profit casino takes their cut and that makes 100% sense, that is how it is everywhere in the whole world.

The site provide decent traffic for the investor, manages the site, safekeeping all those invested bankroll as well as ensuring that there isnt any foul play that would disadvantage their investor . All that is definitely not free and some sites put up those commission charges upon every wagered amount . Think of it as a fee that needs to be paid by investor that want to put up investment on their site

However I do not remember any place that takes money from investors if the gambler wins money

There's alot , I can list few down. The original moneypot was probably the first that implemented this and then there is bustabit/bustadice as well. Of course this stuff probably wont attract any potential investor unless the site is popular and could attract tons of players
