I admit that England has been facing a lot of bad luck these days like rain interference when they are in winning positions etc due to which their chances of ending up in the top 3 of the WTC drastically decrease with time.Your calculation is not wrong as weather forecast backing your statement but you are under estimating mighty modern day batsmen.. Pun intended 
Lol. Inzamam is saying the same thing about how the Pakistan batsmen are getting scared to play big shots. Makes sense though since Pakistan are basically looking for a draw at this point are doing whatever it takes to not get out.
