Since the venue is same does not look good for the prospects and England would have wanted to win the series by like 3-0 or so or atleast would have tried to do the whitewash if match would have happened without any rain interruption. Unfortunately, that is not the case and England may still win the series but by 1-0 assuming third one ends in draw.
If they end up winning the series 1-0, then it will put them in a disadvantage. They were expected to win the series 3-0 or at least 2-0 and could have scored anywhere between 80 and 120 points. The point system is designed in such a way that a win is awarded 40 points, but a draw is given only 13 points. England is clearly losing out here. For the second test, England received 13 points instead of 40 which they deserved.
