so I downloaded the new wallet Verge Leviosa version v6.0.2.0 (64-bit), my previous one was wraith 4.0 I believe. I have 0 active connections to the verge network. I downloaded the database so I'm only 13 days behind but with 0 active connections It will not complete. I looked through the forum and followed some suggestions, i.e. deleting peer.dat but still not fixing the issue. Its been over a year since I've done anything with verge so im trying to catch up. Any suggestions on getting this fixed? anyone have a current peer.dat file they can share so I can see if that fixes the issue. Thanks
start your wallet with --dynamic-network, that will search for both tor and regular peers.
started from CMD prompt i.e. D:\verge\verge-qt.exe -dynamic-network
didn't work.. still 0 active connections, wont sync. I noticed my .conf file is empty... can you post the contents of yours.. maybe this is the issue. It used to be in years past when I couldn't sync.
you should not need a .conf file. also, do you have any other wallets open that are using tor at the moment? or is tor running? also, try deleting your peers.dat and make sure you do not have a .conf. also make sure you have full permission to run the application and use the network (if you are using windows)
