hello. i've been around bitcoin a long time, really a newbie still, but i was playing around with AMPL and somehow i can't figure out how i've lost a small amount of AMPL
You must do a research before playing a deflationary token. AMPL designed to have a stable value of 1$ so when its price decrease below that, the token hodler will also deflate their holdings and to match the equilibrium and this is called negative rebase. You will noticed that if it hits more than 1$ there will be additional tokens on your wallet.
Its same case on other deflationary tokens like yam. So investing on this could be risky but if the outcome is great you can ripped its profit.
As far as I know, there has been similar numerous incident wherein their token are being transferred out from metamask to another wallet without the permission of the wallet holder.
Im sure he is not hacked. But Im confuse why he decreases his eth too. This is somehow a mystery for me.
