Everything working now.i asked them to disable the sms security i had from my account and now i can finally login.
Happy it eventually got resolved. I had a similar issue a year or two ago but they fixed it swiftly (perhaps it didn't happen in a long time and they, or whoever worked on support at the time left, didn't write down the protocol for it).
Similar solution too where they disabled my phone number and anything security related to it.
