Problem with my bitcoin wallet after 11 year old sticky fingers messed with it.

I had only 5.8 bit coins in the wallet but he managed to send payment for 6.21 bit coins for a world of Warcraft game code or something. It never sent the coins (didn't have enough) but it is still showing a 0/unconfirmed since the 25th of September.

Today I decided to just make a new wallet and transfer the balance. Its been over 4 hours and still sitting at 0/unconfirmed. The new wallet is not showing any transactions and the block values keep rising (so its connected).
I have 8 connections and the block values are not changing when I close my old wallet(damaged one) its connected. Any ideas how to fix this? seems like the transaction that my son is stalling everything. I would just  buy the game code but the code is no longer 6.21 bit coins it went up to over 7.7 bitcoins
