I have some ADA coin in an Atomic wallet and I wanted to exchange it for another coin, but I could not, and I always get an error message that the operation is not possible, I tried to send these coins to another exchange, but I also got an error message.
I contact to Wallet support , and this was their answer:
Due to the recent Shelley upgrade, sending and exchanging ADA is under maintenance. Balance-displaying can have issues too. ADA is migrating to a new address format and our team is working hard to keep up with the change. The new release with the fix will be out very soon. We will notify you of any new updates.
Now I know the reason but what I want to know when will Cordano (ADA) move to the new address, is there information how long it will last.
Also another question: Do you expect the ADA price to rise after this latest update?
Shelly upgrade is already finished on 29th July so don't much price movement now (ADA is a long term project). Most of the big-name exchanges have already implemented the changes don't know what's taking Atomic wallet so long to finish
