9. Icon (ICX): 13.43% Annual ROI
In my opinion, this is list is just stupid.
Take a look at ICX for example.
It was worth 11 USD 3 years ago and now only 0.48%. If you stake it for 13% per year but the coin loses 95% of its value, you will still losing 94% of your original investment.
Staking ROI means nothing.
Staking is only profitable in very very early days after staking is activated. The later one join the staking game (or gamble, you can call it too) the higher odds that one will get lower and lower profit (or worse loss).
I saw many projects were born everyday in late of 2017 and early of 2018, with the hype on Masternodes/ staking coins but most of them failed. Now, zero volume, zero price. The only staking/ masternode coin has good survival strength from the hype I know is Gobyte. It still has volume, and price but you can see how its price has fallen
from $70 to $0.03.
