Yam is no longer among top 10 DeFi projects, it is among top 10 worst projects in 2020. This shows how important is development and audits, you can speed up the process only to use current market mood. 
True, but strangely there are still many people who buy this token, and also yam have followed the trend like other DeFi tokens by making Yam 2.0, and now that hype of this project is coming back, I think they will make Yam 3.0 if Yam 2.0 fails.
that will be historical, from Yam 1.0 which signifies failure to 2.0 and then finally end in 3.0!? Well, maybe nobody will be ready to check-in with them. They have made huge mistakes and coming back won't be easy as we thought, because, major investors lost their respective portfolios with them( I hugely got injured with their token). I wouldn't advise any of my group traders to get into this bad omen this time. They should come-up with another good #defi project to keep Yam as a failed project.
