Pi network says we want to facilitate mining. in fact their purpose is easy mining.
while in the crypto currency, mining is not the purpose but it is a process.  

no project, not obvious purpose, just an app that increase the number vision and the word of network that make me doubt.

and numerous people that believe it can be valuable.

whole people will be seller and no buyers when it be releases for a token that doesn't solve anything.

I know you want to easy earn money. but I don't think that the value, be free.
