Avalanche is a really good project especially if you are planning to hold it for the long term. Upon mainnet release, I am expecting the price to be at least x1.5 that's just my opinion and not investment advice.
My prediction is at least x2.5 because Avalanche is really buliding very fast. Not many projects keep to meet timelines, just saying soon but Avalanche really delievers. ETH 2.0 was firstly promised 2 years back and still isn't live.
This is just an optimistic expectation. Growing fast doesn't mean the price would also grow fast.
Yes, avalanche is a promising project and seems that the whole community is watching it. But i think not yet judge it properly; remember what happened with Grin project, the first coin developped with the new protocole MimbleWimble, which even has been adopted as a paiement in bitcointalk to buy copper membership. His price went down from over 5$ to below 1$ in actual market. I don't advice to make huge expectations so not to encourage others to invest only according to personal opinions.
