Why would you want to advertise a local product on a global forum? I doubt that anyone will be ordering a "bitcoin beer" from foreign countries in big quantities, after all it's just a beer with "bitcoin" in its name.
This will somehow considered as merit begging. Signature and other advertising campaigns doesn't require to put merits on the OP, even If it's not mandatory, you shouldn't be talking about merits in the first place.
As mentioned above, this may lead to a negative feedback to your company.
This isn't begging, this is merit trading, and OP easily can get red trust just for making this post. So, the first suggestion is to remove this statement and never again suggest that posters should merit something as a part of the campaign.
In fact you cannot merit "threads", but users. And yes this might get them in trouble.
OP is welcome to start a campaign, i think that goes into the services section of the forum, but should drop the merit thing ASAP.
No, you don't merit user, you merit a post, so meriting a thread means meriting the opening post.
