The first question is, do you believe on NEO's potential? If your answer is yes then my advice is to invest in NEO.
You don't have to worry on the future as it has a great liquidity since it's traded in different exchanges with having almost $400 million daily trading volume.
As you can see in the price graph (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/neo/), its ATH was around $130 and it's current $18, you can see the opportunity, if this break it's ATH, you'll definitely make some good profit investing on it.
