I've seen so many Newbies posting plagiarism, that this instantly triggers the same response. But since you've edited your Reddit post to confirm it's yours, I don't think you should be banned.

I would guess they get many similar requests each day. In your case, you shouldn't accept the ban, but explain why it's wrong.

I suggest to change the title: "Incorrect ban for plagiarism, I copied my own text".
