Polkadots has been amazing lately, I think many are investing in this project now, Dot is really getting a lot of attention now. I cannot really say where this is leafing us to, it might end up been a possible contender with ethereum like OP said, only time will tell.
Actually I have been hearing a lot of noises lately, in reddit specially about this Polkadot and I'm thinking that this could be the next LNK or something. So it's interesting where the project will take off, I'm not saying that I'm going to invest, but I have to look at it closely and do my own investigations and see how it goes. It is sounds viable then why not, I'm just afraid that it could be another pump and dump coin though.
