I don't think investing in kick token is a good idea this token is struggling in the market and it doesn't look capable to achieve something positive, its current state indicates that it may disappear soon from the market so It may be risky investment option, be careful before investing in this useless token.
Their marketing is very bad by spamming tokens and locking. That's where I see their fatal error should be, while their exchange is very unclear, but here I conclude they are taking and collecting data from KYC which can be misused
Kick ICO is one of the early ICO calendar that help alot of crypto related projects successful and the platform require KYC since then so I don't see a reason why they will collect users data in order to misuse their information.
Meanwhile, that doesnt mean their crypto and exchange token will thrive cause the coin concept is not tangible.
