I don't think the OP is asking for the top coins based on market ranking, he could have easily gotten that by either googling or visiting any coin tracker sites that keep such record like coinmarketcap etc. I think he meant basrd on our very own criteria what are the tops coins for us. Before I go on to list mine, just what to remind you (speaking directly to the OP or any other individuals, hoping to get financial advice from this thread) that they're doing the wrong thing as no one here is a financial adviser that should be taken seriously.
