In my point of view I don't see Bitcoin holding any risks. It's the same as in real life cash if you spend your money and get scammed in real life to someone that you never saw or know about then your money isn't going to be returned to you. If you know who you're dealing with and/or dealing with a middleman then bitcoin is totally risk-free for you, however the only downside is that nothing can be done if you get scammed.
