I have personally used Pi Network. I have mined over 790 Pi. I hope the price will go up soon like Bitcoin. That would be an awesome day. 
You are being too optimistic about pi network and their coins but realistically they do not have any use cases or demand so for me it does not make any sense to mine such coins and thinking that it will grow like btc is pure emotions nothing else.
