All scripts run in your browser (except the "payout" part, where the server will automatically cash you out at that point, even if you're not connected). So if you want to stop a script, you can always just close the browser tab. The vast majority of scripts (you can see their source) will automatically bet when ever the server is up, and pause if the site is in maintenance. If you wanted a script to pause when the site goes down and not resume, that would be pretty easy to code.  Or manually it's as easy as just closing the tab (or hitting the pause button on the script)
