It seems to me it is a good step for African people, where lots of people could join to others in the big world to the crypto currency possibilities and perspectives. May be for lots of people on other continents Bitcoin is a usual thing, but how it could sound strange but not all people on our Planet have access to simple things like banking, cards, online payments and Bitcoin and crypto as well. So in my opinion these changes are good. May be step by step lots of people in Africa will be more interested in BTC and making money online)))
I also, think that bitcoin can really bring a lot of opportunities for the people in Africa such as helping them to have financial access since a lot of people still have no access to banks and other services. I have also heard several projects aiming to help Africa and I think to be successful with this revolution, spreading knowledge, and awareness should come first so they can adapt and understand what is this all about.
I have watched the documentary because I'm curious but also skipped some parts and it's more on interviewing about the good things that bitcoin and blockchain can do in Africa.
