That’s a strong step in the right direction, but mining still boils down to ‘How much computer can you afford’ not ‘How much work do you want to do’,

The obvious next step in coins is something that levels the mining playing field. My opinion is that it should be started by a science coin.

Gapcoin could probably have some way to allow the algorithm to constantly be updated by somebody with a simple device, or let them create some other kind of productive input that is not dependent on what they can afford.

I don’t know enough to say how it could be done with gapcoin, but I do know enough to say that whichever coin does it will thrive as long as it is bot resistant, the big thing that killed moto and huc coins.
