I won't lie, this weekend has been maintenance, not progress, so this update may be uninspiring to many.

The bootstrap server at MASC has been doing it's thing, closing wallets, performing a backup and then it should reopen the wallet. This has failed for multiple wallets, but not all. Plenty of investigation later and there was no cause. The only solution was to try and add delays. These also didn't help as hoped. New script written to check if they were online or offline and attempt to wake them back up. This worked for one, but not for others. It's also 9pm here and I've not really had enough time to myself to get onto discord this weekend.

Short summary, MASC is currently running 650 nodes, most are PRX followed by Securus. There's an agreement in place for a new coin to use MASC as their chosen partner but that project is taking time to get launched etc.
MASC is also in discussions about hosting multiple block explorers for a community. Heap of work to get them all online, but it should be worth it when the time comes. It should also keep MASC afloat during this bitcoin stagnation.

Kids have broken up for "summer holiday" here, and I expect that's a global thing, so best wishes to your kids/grandkids/brothers and sisters for their vacation. It's a strange time where kids have been off for so long already that they haven't got a clue what to do with themselves anyway.....so this is a very trying time for parents.
