ok, fine, MAYBE one last time. How do we know for sure if we hit a block given the last fiasco? If the miner hadn't noticed he hit a block NO ONE would have known, and we're renting hash so how do we know? Convince me and I'm in for 0.02.
He knew he hit a block by looking at highest share on the pool status, his share wasn't broadcasted to the network fast enough due to ( what ck explained), so this means the stats on the pool are fine, if you ever get a block worthy share, you will know it, but then whether you do get the rewards or not - will depend on the pool performance and luck, and i assume we did solve the performance issues by upgrading to a much better server, as for luck, well sadly you can't do anything about it.
