I just transfered 193 ORB's to Cryptsy and received the error message "transaction couldnt be completed"

?Have you upgraded to 1.4.0? Any other version will be on a different fork to Cryptsy's.
Starting your client with the -rescan commandline option should recover the unspent coins. You shouldn't need to restore wallet.dat from backup.
