What do you mean by "meaning posts"? Meaningful posts, right? Look, not all posts are meaningful, some are helpful and others may be just informative posts. I understand what you are trying to do, you probably want to tell him that threads for merit giveaway are not good to educate newbies, don't you? But he didn't create a thread for merit giveaway, he only shared the information. Also, I think creating a thread for merit giveaway isn't prohibited and violates the forum rules, but it is not recommended if you only hold small numbers of merits. So, there is no problem with ImThour's thread above!
