I scripted 600-900 in 1,5,10,25,50,100 increments. My units do 600 or 50m increments.
I have found that 750 - 850 is the best spot for clocks.
What is the issue running in dual mode in windows? I can pull my unit out and test it all/ write up single unit dual mining if needed. It'll be win7 64 bit.
Not sure there is an issue, just no reports of any users doing it >.> I don't have my units yet, they're still in the mail. Looking at your dual mode for linux writeup, looks like most of that info should be relevant to succeeding with dual mode in windows. My biggest concern with dual mining is amp draw on the PSU cables....
It really depends what mode you are running in. For scrypt only mode 3 plugs is actually way underpowered as you can get just about 20 devices @10W on a single PCIe cable.
The 18AWG wire can handle 10A and the minifit pins/housings are rated for 9A. Theoretically you can pull 9Ax12V=108W per wire pair. I would not push it that far but safely getting 80W per wire pair has been done ad infinum by miners. This gives 80W*3pairs=240W per PCIe cable.
Those numbers from the PCIe spec are really safe and are meant to protect the graphics card and motherboard which we will not be using in this instance.
According to this I would only be able to run 1 unit per wire pair (3 per pcie or 1 per molex) in dual mode, which drastically reduces the amount of devices I can put on a single machine. Or am I missing something?
If you decide to expand the writeup for dual mode in windows, I'll be sure to point some hash power towards your donation address once I've got everything running smoothly.
