I don't think I get the situation correctly, and certainly that sea of words didn't help. So answer me this: this project existed since three years ago, continue on growing with partnership and goals, despite the inactivity of pre-ann thread as well as the thread owner, and now, with three years of development, it asked for funding by token sale?

This is what I don't get:
1. They have partnership, won't those partner fund the project?
2. They have investors (with you as one of them). They have money invested by those groups. Why asking for a token sale?
3. So what did they do for the past 3 years? They will hold a token sale just this month, does that mean all of those three years back they didn't do anything because there were no funds? Or did they work without funds?
