One sad day when all my friends get UNI alone I don't get it because I choose a centralized exchange to reduce transaction costs.

It doesn't pay to be cheap in the long run
I use both centralized and uniswap, just because uniswap is much more convinient sometimes. And before DeFi craze, fee's on uniswap weren't at all higher than on exchanges
