One sad day when all my friends get UNI alone I don't get it because I choose a centralized exchange to reduce transaction costs.

too bad buddy but I am in the same boat I have many friends that also receive uni tokens. Its not totally free since you need to liquidate to that exchange before you can receive the tokens today .other people recieve more than 400 for supporting that exchange for long time and trade many times. Its normal to us as human to choose what they think for us easy to use and affordable and nothing is wrong it that we just don't know that their token will be value like that.
Its not yet too late you can still participate for the next round distribution of that tokens but I don't know if the value will be the same after this.
