Day traders are indeed those who are to be into altcoins because of their behaviors, remember that, altcoins are different from the Bitcoin itself. Many of these day  traders I know are deep into the altcoins because of their potentials in everyday trade. Sometimes I do trade altcoins too and what I discovered was that, those altcoins aren't good for long-term.
