because gpu mining is altcoin mining not btc mining?anyway, asic manufacturers mine and sell asics, same thing with the fpga sellers.
gpu manufacturers just sells their cards and does not compete with mining.

take a look at gpu mining history.
when new cards are released, did they ROI? now amd and nvidia are releasing their next gen gpus, what is the probability of ROI? you decide.
in the end I hodl btc and doge.
the BTC has been from mining btc directly and indirectly.
the doge is from merge mining ltc and doge on viabtc.
mining for any coin or for fiat is about cheap power and gear management.
I do not care what coins you hodl or if you fully convert to btc. or if you fully convert to fiat.
If you want to think I mine asic to btc and its exclusive you are simply practicing coin racism or coin exclusion to your own loss.
As I said. the best way to mine btc today is with a gpu. So if the btc board insists on playing semantics fine with me.
As I also said I am mining 1.7ph in asics direct to btc. and with bitmain not selling its gear the only way to expand mining btc for me was to buy gpus and autovert the etc to btc on nicehash.
