In order to rank DeFi  projects OP has got to have a system to  reflect the true state of the projects. That system should be based on some metrics. DeFi Pulse for example uses "Total Value Locked" to rank various projects. DeFi Score relies on the quality avaluation approach. I would suggest to OP to use the "Impact Index" fr his ranking. It could  be measured in the number of projects, forked from original one.
