2 - Gambling
3 - Announcements (Altcoins)
are we really sure that the forum is not for making money? then those who post in these sections came to do charity in the forum? are we sure that participating in the signature campaign is not a job?
more than 90% of everyone on the forum is here for the same reasons: MONEY
a small example:
when people don't have money, they go to that section:
Announcements (Altcoins)
collect money and then disappear from Bitcointalk and go to Twitter
when people don't have money, they go to that section:
Gambling
create ANN Thread and execute subscription campaign and at the beginning answer all questions, but when their site gets popular and they start making money, they leave bitcointalk and only post sometimes
If one day on that forum there are no signature campaigns, then the forum will lose more than 90% of the current members.

This is why many people think bitcointalk forum as a source of income which is not at all. This forum is indeed a place where many company or platform that pays anyone who have the skills they are looking for. If you have a skills that is useful then you can use it to earn bitcoin rather than joininh bounty campaign.
If you join here to earn money from the forum instead of learn about and advance Bitcoin, you are an asshole.
