Not 100% sure if this is the right forum, but anyway:
I'm moving a domain from registrar A to registrar B. I currently have the domain whois protected at registrar A, and will have the same at registrar B. However, for it to be moved to registrar B, the private whois has to be cancelled at registrar A.
To me this does not make sense. A privacy violation can happen in the time fram it takes to transfer it from registrar A to registrar B, and turning it off defeats the whole purpose of privacy protection for the domain imo.
Is there any chance I can deny removing privacy protection and have the domain transferred anyway, or is there no way around it?
