They currently only see bitcoin as a profitable but risky investment, limiting their support for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
I think not only politicians are seeing it this way but almost everybody does. Most people buy bitcoin because of the profit they want to make while hodling it, so it cuts into many people that uses bitcoin is mostly for investment.
Because bitcoin is a risky investment, many governments and politicians are against bitcoin. In the future, cryptocurrencies and bitcoin need more changes that benefit the community, then people will have a more positive view of bitcoin.
Then why are there countries with a positive attitude towards cryptocurrency? I think they have a reason for this. Some countries help miners, and in some countries people can pay for utilities with cryptocurrency. So what comes of this? Why is the attitude so different and what is right?
